Plastic Tupperware Queen

Hey its good to be back!

I'm now a back to work mum and have been working for the last 6 weeks or so.  Boy is it tiring!  Life seemed so much easier when I was at home all day.  The worst thing is that there is so much to do but I keep falling asleep at night.  I am in bed for 10!  Never has that happened for the last 6 years!

I don't mind working really on the whole!  The boys are in school all day but I have enjoyed being domesticated and a lady of leisure and that has been hard to let go of.   I miss all my friends now though - that's the worst thing about working.

I am working as we didn't ever get that move to Bradford to be nearer our church.  Summer seemed to pass so quick and things didn't quite fall into place.  It is the intention now that we will buy a little hidie-ho for weekends.  Bradford is quite near to Bronte country     (see here too)

Yes I know I should still have time to blog but I have no camera and seem so uninspired just to write.  I love making my blog colourful with beautiful pictures etc.  So much has been foing on in life too and so much is not being recorded.

Anyway off to ring some clients..... hope to catch up soon.  I am going to do an a to z of the things I miss tomorrow...  if I can stay awake!

What makes a day memorable for you?

Over Summer, one of my favorite days was taking 8 children out for the atfernoon with my lovely friend Paula. 

The sun was hot and the kids were happy but wet from the stream.  They spent time laughing and building a "dry wall" (to quote Lily). 

 

Ta dar..... one beautiful "dry wall"....

Wildcats

Yes!  Like most of you today, we watched High School Musical 2 on Disney! 

We set the projector up and turned the living room into a comfy cinema! Boy, watching those Wildcats strut their funky dance moves at the Lava Springs Country Club makes me wish I had a job like that when I was younger.

My fav was Mr Fulton.  He made me laugh.  We had to play some games on disney but we have downloaded the employee pack.  I can't wait to cut out my employee badge he hee.

The boys said when they get up in the morning, they are going to watch it again so I am sure we will have the song lyrics nailed by the end of the weekend...

So nice to be back in blogland with all you lovely bloggers.  I will be back to daily posting even though I thought I would never get back here from being absent all summer.  You get so used to filling your time up with other 'important' things.  I am looking forward to catching up with the goings on over the last few months.  I think one or two of you will be with child now, some of your little darlings will have just started school etc and there will be one or two summer weddings I am sure.

Well to start where I left off.  London.  We had a lovely weekend and I thought I would share a few of my favorite memories.

My London advice:  Don't take three pairs of high heels - just 1 pair of flats will do!  Lesson learnt here!

Hillsong London

I'm off to London with the gals this weekend!  Whilst they are busy shopping and collecting vintage knick knacks, I am heading for Hillsong London on Sunday.  Just wondered what's it like when you go on your own? It seems a big place....  Any tips for London on where is good to visit, eat out, markets etc??
